Feathered Friends ~ Pigeon River Discovery Center

Bring the family to the Discovery Center on June 23rd from 1 pm to 2:30 pm for the first of three – “Family Fun Make and Take workshops. Kids will learn about the Pigeon River Country State Forest (PRC) and work on a fun nature-based item. At this workshop children will learn about birds and paint a birdhouse to take home. This free workshop is especially geared towards ages 4 to 12, but all are welcome. Weather permitting, this will be an outdoor workshop, so dress accordingly and bring bug spray and a hat. All supplies and an art apron will be provided.

Our other two kid-centered workshops being held this summer are: July 14th from 1 pm to 2:30 pm ~ “All About Plants” and Aug. 4th from 1 pm to 2:30 pm ~ “Mammals”
