On this episode of The Future of Comedy Show we are back at BJS Catering and Event Center in Gaylord with nationally touring headliner, Mike Ball PLUS FOCS regulars Big Juicy, Kate Brindle and Nick Kelley! Nick Kelley- Nick is a Detroit based comedian who quickly wins over audiences with his playfully off-color likability. Nick was the winner of the 2022 Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle ‘Detroit to L.A. Competition’ and has featured for nationally recognized acts such as Graham Kay, Akaash Singh, Ron Taylor, and Alton “Boogie” Williams. On stage Nick quickly wins over crowds by taking the “disruptive behavior” his teachers regularly complained about and puts it to good use. Nick discusses an array of both trivial and philosophical observations as well as personal experiences ranging from delivering flowers to the unique perspective gained by growing up with his old school Italian grandpa.
Niecole Middelton aka Big Juicy a 20 year veteran of comedy. Originally from Flint, Michigan the home of the water crisis. She has performed coast to coast opening for Mad TV Legend, Aries Spiers, Dee Ray Davis and cult sensation Michael Blackson. Big Juicy has performed in every single kind of venue from back yard BBQ’S to the world famous San Franciso Musuem of Modern Art and the Detroit Oprah House. You will know when she gets on stage because positive energy is her fragrance
Kate Brindle has performed her sarcastic yet upbeat and spunky style of comedy on the Canadian Broadcast Channel, Cox Cable, and Comcast Cable. She advanced in the California’s Funniest Female Contest, and was featured in the Oddball Comedy Festival and International Great Plains Comedy Festival. She’s also opened for Louie Anderson, Dave Attell, Bill Burr, Kevin Nealon, Kevin Pollak, and Sarah Silverman.
