About:

The largest lake in the Gaylord area, Otsego Lake runs along Old 27 South for approximately 5 miles.  With its sandy bottom and shallow waters, this all-sports lake is a haven for swimmers, boaters, fisherman, kayakers and all water lovers.  Otsego Lake offers easy access for boaters and fisherman with paved launches at the County and State Parks.  Both parks offer ample parking, docks, restrooms, picnic areas, beaches and easy water access.

Access to the County Park is along West Otsego Lake Drive and the State Park is located on Old 27 South.

Fish for:  walleye, northern pike, muskellunge, perch, smallmouth and largemouth bass
