Downhill Skiing & Snowboarding
What’s the recipe for downhill fun this winter? High elevation coupled with behemoth snowfall and two premier resorts to top it off!
While we may not be the Swiss Alps, Gaylord sits at the highest elevation of any city in the Lower Peninsula, comfortably resting at 1,380 feet above sea level. Our altitude and central location mean winter starts earlier, lasts longer and the banks get higher – and you won’t hear us complain.
Tubing
Want an adrenaline rush but feeling less than coordinated? Get your scream on with an exhilarating session of tubing at either resort. It couldn’t get any easier – a tow rope hauls you to the top of the hill then gravity takes over. Be sure to call ahead for reservations and check height requirements for children.
Spectacular scenery, luxurious but cozy resorts and enough slopes for everyone. It’s time to hit the slopes in Gaylord, Michigan!
